Weekly Glimmers | A Week In Pictures: Mar 30 - Apr 5

Spring has officially made its way into both the yard and my creative work this week. ☁️🫧🌸

Between violets, clovers, painted papers, heART journals and Easter magic, everything feels a little more playful and alive again.

✨Weekly Glimmers is a photo series about noticing small moments of creativity, nervous system safety, and meaning while healing, parenting, and building a sustainable creative life.

a overhead image of an ocean of violets and their verdant foliage

The ocean of violets in my yard inspired much of my work this week. 💜

cozy workspace with art supplies and a font template from calligraphr filled in with a crayola marker

I LOVED making my handwriting into a font with Calligraphr.

A soft spring sunrise over a Tennessee ridgeline with pastel pink and orange clouds stretching across a calm lavender morning sky.

☁️Sky check: It’s giving S P R I N G 🌸

A quiet Tennessee pond scene with a ‘no swimming’ sign and a little turtle resting at its base on a warm, sunny afternoon

Shoulda read the sign, my guy… 🤷‍♀️

a workspace with old book pages being painted and repurposed with white paint for reuse in collage projects and heART journals

One of my favorite creative rituals - painting papers. 💚

closeup image of fresh spring produce near a cutting board and pastel flower bowls containing crudités and dyed easter eggs

Easter prep. I hope y’all had a good holiday. We put coins in the kids’ egg hunt eggs this year, so needless to say, this one is gonna be legendary status for a while. 😅

image of a newly sprouted climbing rose with some glass gemstones offered at the base below by hopeful children with big hearts and green thumbs

I spotted some “mermaid money” at the base of our new climbing rose. Offered by tiny hands with big hearts and green thumbs. 💚

a rain soaked driveway and a POV image of the artist's black combat boots and ripped jeans while carrying a handful of foraged flowering dogwood branches

Went on a post-rainstorm walkabout and I foraged some flowering dogwood while my little bird blew her bubbles. This is perfection if you ask me.

What’s been catching your attention lately? I feel like this season makes everything a little easier to notice. ☁️🫧🌸

Sarah
