Plan With Me | Week of Apr 6 - 12

Here’s what this week is looking like in my planner. ✨

I’ve been leaning into a mix of creative work and everyday routines. Finishing up my printable designs, sketching new pieces, and continuing my little experiment with repeating patterns (this time with my violet + clover idea).

A lot of this is happening in small pockets of time—especially the car pickup line—so this week is less about doing everything and more about gently moving things forward.

Plan With Me is a series where I share a peek at how I organize my week as an illustrator, blogger, and small business owner. It’s part planning session, part creative diary, and part gentle accountability.

Each week, I sit down with my planner and map out what’s ahead — creative work, blog posts, and the routines of everyday life.

If you like this kind of cozy behind-the-scenes routine, you can browse all the entries in the Plan With Me archive here.

This Week’s Plan:

After a busy week of celebrating [my birthday AND Easter], I’m excited to get back to my repeating pattern experiment! This time working on a violet + clover design using my Cricut.

I’m also wrapping up final edits on my printable sheets and sketching out new recipe card designs. And if I‘ve managed to accomplish all those sketches, I’ll start the sketch for my next portfolio piece.

I get most of my sketches done in the car pickup line, so there’s lots of opportunity during the week. 😅

I’ll share how the violet + clover pattern turns out in Friday’s post—I’m really curious to see if this version clicks a little more.

Nothing too overwhelming this week—just small, steady progress in the middle of everyday life.

I’m learning to trust that these little pockets of time add up, even when it doesn’t feel like much in the moment. ✨

Sarah
