Weekly Glimmers | A Week In Pictures: Apr 6 - 12
Last week unraveled a bit.
A sinus bug, a shift in rhythm, and suddenly the structure I rely on felt out of reach. And with it, even my glimmers felt harder to hold onto.
Not because they disappeared—but because I had less capacity to notice them.
So I softened everything. Paused what I could. Let “enough” be enough.
Instead of pushing, I knew I needed to stay close to my creative practice in a low-pressure way. Just dilly-dallying in my heART journal always feels like a cozy place to land when everything else feels a little uncertain.
✨Weekly Glimmers is a photo series about noticing small moments of creativity, nervous system safety, and meaning while healing, parenting, and building a sustainable creative life.

☁️Sky Check: Glorious! 🌸🏵️🪻
Finally meal prepped some pineapple + apple salad. Yum!
One of my favorite “weeds”. A weed is just a name for any plant that grows where it wasn’t supposed to…🤔
Mini-orchard is starting to take off! 🍎🍒🍐
🎨 Played with more painted paper palettes. I love this combo! A lil pop of neon is always a good thing.
Happy to be desk-bound this week after a lot of missed studio time lately.
Hoping to cheer up my sick Little Bird, we got the kids the Mario Happy Meals, so ofc mama had to try the Huntrix Meal!
Those fries were TOO GOOD! 🍜🍟When we’re having a sick week, working on the heART journals always feels like a cozy, no-pressure way to stay connected to my creative energy [so I don’t go crazy from the stress!].
Everything is turning GREEN again! 💚
OKAY Ms. Azalea!! 🩷🩷🩷 She didn’t bloom the first two years we lived in this house. I guess she was real stressed… [SAME, girl. 😅]
You too, Iris! 💜 Lookin FINE, ladies!
What’s blooming near you this week? What’s one of your favorite glimmers from the week?
Xo,
Sarah
